I've been a HUGE fan of the Google toolbar ever since it was first released. Having the best search engine on a handy toolbar regardless of what page you're on is extremely beneficial. I saw the release of version 2.0 but never got around to installing it until this morning as I figured, what could they add that I'd want?

Pop-up blocking is the big new feature. It is AWESOME. Blocks most popups, and gives you a count of how many it's stopped. Amazing add-on to your browser software that installs in seconds. There are other new features as well -- I recommend to anyone that spends ANY time on the web.

Get it here: Google Toolbar 2.0

Rain on my parade. You mean to tell me that people actually use something other that IE? I don't believe it.

Googlebar is great. Mozzila is also great. Let the people have their own preferences!

It doesn't run on this machine, but it doesn't really matter... my browser has pop-up blocking and google search built-in.

googlebar doesn't send info unless you turn on page rankings, it specifically tells you that during the install
