There isn't one IMO. Dropping support for old, less secure web browsers is a no brainer for any company.

until a few months ago, the hospital i work at *couldnt* upgrade past ie6 and more than one vendor application was ie-6 only. its crap.
 
Come on Google, disable search support for users of these browsers as well...please. It would be the best thing that's happened to Bing and others in a while.
