How do I keep my address contacts as they are not have them in my Google Talk list? I mean its okay to have the email addresses but I dont want people to know I'm online or not. This is not one user but all users. Im aware of Google Talk Labs Edition but I do not want to use that.

I want 5 users to know if Im online or not in a list of 100 email address contacts from the Gmail address book. How do I do this?

In the Contacts section of Gmail, you can select whether or not an email address will appear in your Google Talk contacts. By default it's set to Auto.
