How do I transfer all my contacts that are saved to my phone to google contacts?

Saved on what phone? Your Android phone? Your phone can sync automatically to your gmail account and save them on there.

make sure that you turn sync on in the "accounts and sync" option. There should be an option for your gmail address there.

You can also turn the sync on in your contacts app.

Ok it syncs from Google to my phone, but I dont know how to get the ones that are saved "on" my phone to be saved on Google contacts.

If you save a new contact on your phone and sync it, it will automatically get saved on your gmail account.

When I save a new contact on my phone it asks me to choose to save it to either phone or gmail. I chose phone for a lot of them but now I want them all to be on my gmail. It doesnt directly save from my phone to gmail

What phone is this? When I save a contact it automatically saves it on my phone then when I sync it saves it on my gmail account.

check when editing a contact, perhaps if you hit menu you'll get an option to move it between the phone and the google account? weird that it is segregated.

I searched through my phone and didn't see any options, so I'm assuming its a touchwiz/epic thing.
