Google search gurus: A Challenge

Try and locate the 12MB Hitachi service menu or manual for the HDTV Hitachi 53FDX01B, I doubt you'll find it.

My roommates HDTV was brought in for service because the red gun went out so they fixed it by replacing an entire logic board. Now the picture is too wide and he remembers seeing the service guy get into some complicated menu before but doesn't know how to access this menu.

Because they already left and we have like 40 new DVDs we bought and this is one of those rare instances where I am actually going to watch a DVD I bought (hears everyone gasp).

I thought one of you guru's would have found it by now *shrugs*

I used a very complicated query, RossMAN. I searched Google for 'Hitachi service menu' and saw a 12k file four down from the top.

RossMan you should rephrase your post because the manual is what we need to find not the menu.. oh well still looking..

Thanks but "snow misers" idrive link doesn't work. Well I e-mailed the other guy who said he has ALL the Hitachi manuals saved on his hard drive. I hope he gets back to me, if I had my own website I'd host the damn files myself.
