I tried signing a friend up for picasa but now Google forces users to first signup to Google Plus garbage. Picasa was a nice little site before Google ruined it with their Google Plus garbage.

Sigh....Flickr maybe?

PS: I still hate the new Gmail !!!!!!!!!!!!

You're certainly welcome to abandon the free Google software and buy other products...:p

The new image SafeSearch blows (or actually, maybe it doesn't).
Searching for "blowjob" gives this tame result (SFW) :

Google picture search used to be unfiltered, moderate, or strict filtering. Now it seems to be just moderate or strict.

Using the term "porn," 9 out of the first 10 results weren't porn. Google now can't even find porn on the internet.

They ruined Deja-news a long time ago with Google groups. Google couldn't even do a search engine for it right.

Then they censored firearms from their shopping.

Now they've censored their picture search.

They have also screwed up Youtube's filtering. Already a thread about that.

Are they trying to be more like Baidu in China? Do they want Bing to gain more market share?

Google has turned into most big companies. Too big for it's own good, evil, and sucks. Google used to be one of those few big corporations that is actually not evil and actually puts out awesome stuff.

I don't really use Google search anymore and I've pretty much reduced my usage of Youtube, it's just too frustrating to use with all the changes they are constantly doing. About the only thing Google I use now is Adsense, but that's pretty much set and forget. I get a check every month. In fact they managed to screw up even that. I cannot login to the adsense interface in Linux, I have to use a Windows XP VM. Does not work in 7 either. It keeps wanting to revert to the mobile version which is just a bunch of <h1></h1> links that don't do anything.

When I revisit my websites I will probably look at an adsense replacement. Though adsense is admittedly one of the higher paying ad networks.

Google gives the most sought-after results first, and those are demotivational pics. Nobody who wants actual porn types in "blowjob".
They always go for their kink first, whether its prolapsed rectums or horse rape or good old fashioned hundred-man bukkake orgies.

You type in those terms I GUARANTEE you get exactly what you want.

Last year Google dropped + from their Boolean terms. That was another inexplicably pointless and annoying change.

PSA: get Noscript, and log in with JS disabled. It's more compact, easier to read, no retarded half list on the left, there aren't low-contrast icons to figure out, and what used to be those icons aren't moving and hiding on you.

Allegedly, "kw" supersedes it, but "kw" only catches exact matches, while +kw allowed the capture of like words.

What pissed me off is that they recently decided to get rid of Google Calendar sync. I need that to sync my work calendar with my home calendar, ya bastards!

Google has jumped the shark.
Just changed my search engine to Bing. And I don't like Bing either.
I do run No Script on my Gmail though.
