Hi there,

I hope someone can help me here. :\

When I load up IE8 or 9 and I type in to the search part nothing comes up in a list to select from.
If something was to come up they all are greyed out.

Please can anyone help me to sort this out?

I've tried uninstallng ie9 and having ie8 tgen have it be updated to ie9 but it still does not work whether it be 8 or 9.

Mozilla does not work and I'd rther not use that to be honest.

Thank you,

In Internet Explorer, click on the Tools icon (gear-shaped at upper left) or do Alt+T and then select Internet Options from the list. On the General tab in the Search section, click the Settings button and then click on the Google search provider and then in the bottom part of the window be sure that "Search suggestions" is enabled.

I was able to replicate your problem (I think?) in IE9 by changing my security settings from Medium-High to High (Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> moving the bar in the middle up). At "Medium-High" the auto-complete / drop-down list works in Google Search for me, but on "High" it doesn't.
