so how does this NOT promote piracy?
Whats stopping me from grabbing the mp3 from a youtube music video and matching it onto Google Play?
Because it's a hassle, and if you're committed to going that far, you'll likely just grab the music from a torrent or usenet. It's not like this service legitimizes illegally downloaded music.
From what I've read, you can't re-download a good 320kbit track if it was matched against a lower quality track. Sure, I doubt their software will stop you from doing so with a 320kbit YouTube rip, but damn...it's a lotta hassle to save a buck.
