Google Maps

I've known about google maps since it first came out. When I went there all excited about it within a few days of its release, I was disappointed that it couldn't even locate my address. I figured, "Oh well" since I have been using Mapquest religiously for the last few years.

Fast forward to Saturday. I had used mapquest for directions to get to the college I was attending for orientation. Well, I happened to get off at the wrong exit leading to the same highway as it wasn't clearly specified which exit to take in the directions and I ended up getting lost, but eventually found my way on my own. Then today, I went back for a meeting for testing out of courses and this time I decided to use Google Maps. I was a little wary at first thought about using it, given what I already knew about it, but I gave it a shot. The directions are very clear and actually saved me about 15 minutes worth of travel time. I am happy and will re-evaluate which map/direction service I use from now on.

Google Maps roxorz the big one!!!!!111

Hmm, in an ATOT poll, i thought the conclusion was that google maps was sexier but that mapquest in the end gave better directions.

Google maps is pretty cool and user friendly, but it's prone to giving WRONG DIRECTIONS and directions that take longer than mapquest and yahoo.

Google gave me wrong directions twice and one of them was WAYYY off. I was like "wtf where the hell am i? This doesn't look like a business road, it's gravel!"
