I've known about google maps since it first came out. When I went there all excited about it within a few days of its release, I was disappointed that it couldn't even locate my address. I figured, "Oh well" since I have been using Mapquest religiously for the last few years.
Fast forward to Saturday. I had used mapquest for directions to get to the college I was attending for orientation. Well, I happened to get off at the wrong exit leading to the same highway as it wasn't clearly specified which exit to take in the directions and I ended up getting lost, but eventually found my way on my own. Then today, I went back for a meeting for testing out of courses and this time I decided to use Google Maps. I was a little wary at first thought about using it, given what I already knew about it, but I gave it a shot. The directions are very clear and actually saved me about 15 minutes worth of travel time. I am happy and will re-evaluate which map/direction service I use from now on.
