previous job --> subway: 30-40 minutes

job before that --> yes, i worked in the empire state building. subway commute was about 30-40 minutes as well plus a long 2 block walk which sucked in winter.

That's unbelievable. $700k for a 3 bedroom house. :shocked:.

I have a couple of friends who live there in SD and to listen to them talk about California realestate blows my mind. I couldn't even afford to rent a parking space in your garage with my entire mortgage payment!
