Hmmm... my home isn't on the map yet, but this is still really nice. I especially like how I can use the mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in and out.

Yup they had terraserver forever. Google = copyz0rz.

The quality is amazing. I checked Terraserver out last year and you can zoom in our on school's stadium so it takes up more than the screen. You basically see the football teams out there playing and the fans in the stands =)

Take a look at maps.a9.com (amazon's search)

They freaking took pics of major city's major streets. It shows pictures as if you were driving on the street looking left or right out the window.

lol, the birdseye view takes a bit of getting used to, but pretty cool. And ya, microsoft already had the terraserver waaay before google. They just streamlined/integrated it w/ maps.

i like maps.yahoo.com/beta too hehe. It's already personalized when you sign in.

yay google, making all our internet services better by making the other big two internet companies better 🙂

The images of my house are more recent than I have seen on other mapping services.

They're exactly the same ones that Google uses on my house.

I was checking the biuldings of my hometown, and the images in my home town (diamond bar, ca) are approximately 5 years old.
