Google launches Pay Per View Web Video

...

"The Upload Program also allows producers to decide whether they want to allow free access to the content or set a fee for access. Chane wouldn't comment about plans to eventually charge for some content. For now, video search results won't include content with a price tag."

I'm fine with google as long as they don't get my personal information to identify me, therefore I won't be giving up my credit card to them anytime soon.

I understand the need or desire to charge for some high-bandwidth content like that, but that's what makes Google so awesome - so much information available at your fingertips for free.

Again, I agree. But I think the profit and cashflow generated from video sales will be completely independent of Google. They just set up the system and we as consumers or sellers can have at it.

I don't trust google just yet...

this is also the same company that sees no wrong when their desktop search engine accidentally lists all the pr0n photos from that one pay site...cause them to lose $$$

I ain't giving my personal info to google willingly. If they want it, I'm sure they can get it, but not from me 😉
