I'm love technology, but at some point even interesting apps like that get a little too big brother-sh even for me.

That said, I'm pretty sure Verizon could track me if they wanted to, since GPS is usually enabled on my phone (I used Bones In Motion, really cool pedometer and calorie activity tracking app).
 
Why would I want someone to know where I am? If they want to know, call and ask. No reason to broadcast it somwhere, imo of course.
 
me and my friends know about it, but we only activate it when we're in vegas or something and we're trying to find each other and cant hear our phones over the crowd/music/games.
