Google is rejecting my IP subnet

I have been having a problem accessing Google. Since I can access other websites and Google too if I route it through IDZap.com, I'm sure Google is blocking my ISP's IP subnet. When I'm having the problem, IE reports a DNS error and there is no response when I manually ping google.com.

I searched around for a while and figured out that running many programmed requests will get your IP banned from Google. here. Since I'm on dynamic IP dial-up, I suspect some idiot on the same IP pool is getting the subnet temporarily banned by running programmed requests through Google.

Google was giving me DNS error way too often. I thought at first it was their problem, but I came to realize a major website like Google can't be this pathetic. I instant messaged a few friends and asked them if they can access Google. Everyone was able to access Google, but me. This is when I figured out there is something between my IP subnet and Google.

Am I right in my guess and most importantly what can I do?

Try skyking's post, then if that doesn't work we can know that it is not a DNS problem. Then, complain to your ISP. They are the ones that can solve this.

You sure that google isn't banning your subnet because someone is doing automated lookups? I believe I've read on their site something about banning for that.
