for my area about 2 years old. there is a subdivision that is just starting to be built in the images in my area.

i think its a few years ago. I found my old highschool and behind it was a big plot of land that they were gonna build hundreds of houses on. on google maps it appears as i remember it, but the other day I drove by and ALL the houses were up

Wow there's some clear pictures. They have a better shot of my house then other satellite image sites.

Can't zoom in at the govn't building I'm working in.

nm, found it. Ooooh. Now let zoom in on that gorilla in congo.

I thought they bought KeyHole a long time ago?? I remember everyone was fascinated with KeyHole technology because CNN kept using it to zoom in on Baghdad during the first few days of the war.

I don't understand why people would be upset about this. Mapquest has had the exact same thing for a while now.

Interesting note about the area I'm in now. It's low res sat images for almost the entire area - except one small section, less than a mile square I'd guess. That's full-color, high res images.

Heh cool I was looking around the SF bay area and happened on 3Com Park. Looks like there was a game going on at the time because the parking lot is chock full, the stadium is chock full, and you can even make out where the players are on the field and sidelines.

Tried looking at Miller Park (Milwaukee, WI) to see if they had the new stadium but I can't zoom in very far but it looks like the old one... We're on the 4th year of the new one? Maybe the 3rd. Can't remember.
