Google Finance

How neat, they developed something Yahoo's had for years. But Google did it - it's awesome and amazing!

So Google wants to become a portal, what with all the Mail, GPages, GFinance, MyG, and what not.

We'll see how it turns out, but against Yahoo!, if it does provide as many services as Yahoo! (and I mean exactly all the services, including briefcase, Flickr, and whatnot) I'm guessing that Google will win, simply because of the way they publicise.

Anyways, back to the thread at hand: does it have a currency convertor like Yahoo! does?

wow!! i might have to move my portfolio from yahoo to google now

that's pretty sweet how you can click on the chart, and it brings you to the specific news release/milestone

Silly sheep.

If you ever fooled around with any stock/finance information you'll see this is probably the best free sources you can ever use. There are more sofisticated solutions though nothing as glitzy as what googles is but your paying $10,000 a user.

Google = the free.

It's not that much more impressive than Yahoo, but I like the chart. That is way cool 🙂

For the ubercool interactive charts, you need to install the Macromedia Flash Player

Will have to see how ubercool they are when I get home, but kudos for simply using the term ubercool. :thumbsup:

What a coincidence!? I've been thinking about when they were going to release this for the past couple of weeks and *poof!* its here today!!

uh, no, there are far superior paid services out there.

Yahoo has always had great, FREE stuff (love the finance page, the My Yahoo page, Fantasy sports!). Way before Google. Google just makes it "flashier" and lots of "oooohs" and "ahhs" in its offerings.

Anyone check out the Yahoo! Maps Beta? You can now send directions to your phone now (unfortunately, Verizon doesn't work with it!)
