Google fails me

StageLeft

No Lifer
In chorus is ""don't be afraid of the dark" "i'm not here to play with your heart"". Google comes up with only this in somebody's signature. It's an electronica genre song. Thanks!

I just googled:

"not here to play with your heart" lyrics

and received a 'no results found' page.

I don't get it either. When I originally clicked the thread, Glitchny was the only responder to the thread and he had the correct answer in his post.

This into google exactly "don't be afraid of the dark" "i'm not here to play with your heart" does return a result, but google and search skills won't help you here, folks. I am really going to need somebody who knows the song.

HA! I saved myself from embarrassment by not making an absolute claim!

Anyways, yeah you got me there. That line didn't work out too well, but its the second result when you use "dont be afraid of the dark lyrics" without any quotations.

Come on AT, if you let this fall through the cracks you'll have set a new precedent. Surely somebody has heard this. I would say it's at least a couple of years old. I found it on my computer misnamed and know it only as "track 4". It seems, I think, to come from a remix electronica compilation with the seamless transition from track to track like Paul Oakenfold does on his albums (I'm guessing most albums similar do the same thing, but not sure).

1. female/male vocal? (verses, not just chorus)
2. length of track
3. electronica? can you be more specific? like- trance, ambient, downtempo, etc
4. are you sure those are the exact lyrics?
5. five looks better than four.

Female, 6:07. It's just like a "remix of some kind". 99% sure, especially with them being in somebody's sig.

I have the MP3, but I cannot really spread it here 😉

nightfoxI think in fact that is the best way to find it at this point. I may have to register an account 🙂

EDIT: That guy is still active. Registered and waiting for clubplanet email 🙂

Google is only as helpful as the information it has available to search through and index. So, more than likely, nobody has taken the time to enter that song's lyrics anywhere online yet. I have got a lot of promotional CD's whose contents stump both WMP and MM's database of albums/track info, so I have to enter it manually(luckily most of the CD's have the contents printed right on the disc itself for easy reference).

What does the ID3 tags on the MP3 say? Not to mention, are you actually that scared of the RIAA that you think they'll have a case if you upload it so you can find out what song it is so then you might actually be able to pay money for it? Just drop it on putfile or somewhere and take it down when it gets ID'ed.
