Man, this google tv I've been browsing is pretty bittersweet. On the one hand, It has a great interface and plenty of bandwidth, but, on the other, all I can watch are these videos of this nerdy douche with a bad haircut who sits in his cubicle talking about technology hoaxes 🙁

Infinite Solutions, my ass :|

NEWSFLASH: there isn't such a thing as an ethernet cable

I did a little bit of detective work...Ok, not much at all.

I watched one of the other InfiniteSolutions videos and caught a website at the end of the credits (it was actually hard to read and rather fast) but I came across FatalFarm which they are claiming that Google has ceased beta applications since they went public with this info (who would have thought this would be their response?)

Just thought it was interesting.

unlikely that its true
so many people trying
everyone seems to come up empty handed
never getting through and all
especially with it on digg
terrific hoax, if thats what it is. guess Ill have to look elsewhere for my tv goodness 😉

FFS people, it has nothing to do with how many times. Certain people were selected, as with Yahoo Mail beta etc. etc.

What more proof do you want? I gave you an SS. I fail to see how it's shenstastic. Can't wait when in a couple of months I can bump this thread and LOL.

I'm going to try a couple more times, although I'm quickly getting bored with it...

edit: After watching some of his other tutorials, I'm gonna go ahead and think this guy likes to feed us some BS...

Google issued an email to everyone who has been trying this. They send it to you after the 150th try or so.

It appears you have been a victim of a hoax currently being perpetuated on YouTube. Were this is not a significant issue for us we would appreciate it if you stopped "log cycling" and communicate to any other Gmail members to do the same.

We appreciate your interest in GoogleTV and will make sure you're notified once it is available for beta testing.

Thanks, The Gmail Team

Nope.
Nothing yet.

I read somewhere that since the guy told everyone they shut down the beta signup.

No idea if this is all a hoax or not... 😛
Guess I was stupid enough to try. I only tried for a few minutes though, probably 10-15 logins.

Yea, me too. Maybe 10-12 times.

I love YouTube comments lol:
"Mark Ericson here man like my sweater my grandma hand knitted it. I heard it's a new style.NOT"
