Hilarious....I just downloaded that and was about to post about it.......
 
I just wish I could see sheffield or the moors in the clear. You can see manchester (where I live) and I'v even found my house.

That could be due to there not being any high resolution maps for that area. Not really google's fault, the area just hasn't been surveyed in much detail.

Actually, Google seems to have found a company with a good satellite of their own and has tasked them at improving North American resolution. The edges of "blurry zones" have been slowly coming into focus lately.
