Grandads died and Im not up for leaving the house.

Iv been on google earth all day, and how do I get the more clear bits ? I only have a few on each country if that?

Sorry if this is a noob question

Youre right. You see blue shadowed areas, that can be closen-up. All other are yet not correctly seen. Google earth is a project in developtment.

Anyone wanna send me a copy of Google Earth? Google removed the download link untill the next update. :(

Google Earth's bandwidth is abysmal.

I get so frustrated waiting that I just give up.

It would be a LOT more fun if they'd broaden the pipes a bit (a lot).

Google Earth is using the same sat pictures that Google maps uses.

High res pictures are expensive, so they focus on areas of most interest.

My town (manchester) just happens to be one of the close ups :thumbsup:

I sent an email a few weeks ago asking when they would cover my area in hi-res.

They covered my area and the areas above / below within 2 weeks, and they're not even majorly urban areas with much interest at all.

Chuffed :D
