Before with Google Earth, couldn't you use it online at some Google site?

I remember seeing, and using it several months back, but now it seems that you have to download it to use it.

Does anyone know about it being for use online before?

THANKS

coordinates are possible - theres probly a better way but this is how i do it...
-go to someplace on google maps
-click "Link to this page"
-the actual url will come up in the bar on your browser
-you can change the numbers to your own value and hit enter

if you want to use coordinates, use this:

http://nearby.org.uk/

after putting in coordinates and hitting "go" the page that follows will give you links to the different online maps with the coordinates linked.
