google is up for me.

No, actually it was down a couple months ago. My friend gmailed himself something so he could access it elsewhere, and when he tried to access it, google (including gmail) was down.

Not only could the several computers around not access google, but there were forum postings just like this one asking if it was down.

I'm in WI. I tried multiple proxy servers we have at work and can't get there through any of them. But everything else works just fine.
