google customized search engine

it appears google just launched a customizable search engine today. while the potential is clearly amazing i can only imagine the abuse that can and will occur with this.

How would it be abused?

Someone defines a list of sites which will be included in a search, and then puts a link on their web page to this customized version of Google. I can see this having great potential for sites that focus on a single subject. Imagine having a Google-powered search which will only give you results from relevant sites.
