Google Chrome with proper Adblocking?

Ad Muncher is better it removes ads from everything no matter what it is. Yes it may not be free but you can get it for free legitimately very easily.

Does things Ad block will never be able to do ever.

Agreed. Ad Muncher is the bomb.

Not only that but the author of the program actually helps you almost instantly most of the time. Basically 24/7 tech support. He is constantly upgrading the program as well. Updates for blocking new ads are released daily. It is that good. Still surprised by how much he actually supports his program because we need more people who do this with their products.

I use Ad muncher and it is a very good program. The problem I have with it is the cost. To get the best features you have to pay $29.95 PER YEAR. That is too much for an ad blocker. I can see a one time fee but not a yearly fee. For the price charged they better support and keep it updated.

If you want to block ads from everything just like ad muncher you can install privoxy. It takes more steps to set up but works just as good and is free.

Wasn't like that when I bought it years ago. I think you can still buy an unlimited license with free updates forever if I remember right reading on the forum. Can't wait until Ad Muncher 4.9 final then a little whiles later 5.0! Going to be awesome!

Can you show me where it says $29.95 per a year please ?

Updates are only good for 1 year, after that you get no more updates to the filter list or anything else.
Unlimited is $71

That is ridiculous for an ad blocker.

It's about $27 US for daily filter updates, or $17 for weekly updates. Sure you can use privoxy, but I've found that the program is well worth it to be able to block all ads in any browser no matter what you are doing.

Blocking the ESPN ads before every video, along with all of the youtube ads is just awesome and I have no problem paying for that.

Exactly that is where Ad Muncher's greatest power is! Rottentomatos as well
with that ad screen that comes up after clicking on a link saying click here to go to next page.

Tell me what other ad blocker can do that and I will check it out.

Thats a good news, I just re-enabled Adblock extension in Chromium. I guess now more extensions would take advantage of 'beforeload' feature.

Earlier I had disabled adblock and was using privoxy for blocking ads in Chrome etc. Sometimes privoxy blocks page redirects. Haven't played with its settings.

I don't mind paying a one time fee of $27, but I am not paying $27 for every year I use the program.

Pivoxy, squid, and many others. There is really nothing squid cannot block.
There is nothing unique that ad muncher is doing except making it easier for people to set up.

Another even easier way is to install an ad blocking hosts list.
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

I use this on systems and it works the best most often because it blocks 95% of everything, even the rottentomatoes ads and requires nothing to be running on the pc. Anything you run that tries to pull ads from any of the listed sites will be blocked.
