Google Chrome will not load gmail

When I try to access gmail using Chrome I get stuck at a blank white page with "Loading..." displayed on the tab. This has happened to me on a previous install on Win XP, I'm now using Vista. I have no problems with gmail and Chrome on my home computer, it loads fine.
It looks like it's at least a somewhat know problem...

Does this happen for anyone else? Is there any sort of fix?

I've actually concluded that it is all HTTPS sites when I am behind the proxy server at work (Microsoft ISA). When I take my laptop home SSL sites work fine. I heard that installing the chrome "night updates" can fix the problem. So I'll try that monday.

I had the same problems.
My G-mail would not open in the Chrome Browser but in Firefox and IE without any problems.
I found out, that G-mail will open if you use the "incognito" window screen (Ctrl+Shift+N) into which to load G-mail.

It happens sometimes to me too. It just stands there and shows the "Loading" page. It's funny that Google's browser won't open their own service 🙂

But it will, indeed, open if you use the "incognito" window screen (Ctrl+Shift+N) into which to then load/open G-mail.
