Google Chrome issues, choppy flash video

Hey guys,

When I watch a flash video opened on one tab, everything runs fine.

Once I open up a second tab and begin viewing that tab (which is not running a video), the video from tab #1 becomes choppy (I can hear the audio skipping) and my computer fan turns on full blast as if my computer is being stressed...

Any ideas? I have no add ons except adblock....

Nothing running in background except nod32....

EDIT: Same issue in firefox, no choppiness but the system fan kicks on and the system seems as if the cpu is running at 100%
