Since I only have Nexus devices (and my previous phone was on Gingerbread), I haven't ever used the quick controls. I just watched a video about them, however, and I think they look pretty cool. One of the other things which bothers me about Firefox is that the address bar doesn't reappear very easily when scrolling back up (or swiping from the top, which I can't quite get the feel for because I end up dragging down the notifications menu instead). If they had a quick settings button to bring it back, it wouldn't be so bad.
And, to add to the list I made earlier, Chrome has another advantage over Firefox, at least on phones: tab management. The tab list is much more fluid and allows you to sort through open tabs much quicker. You can also change tabs by swiping from the left or right side of the screen.
