Question Goodbye, WinAmp GitHub repos.

It was immediately obvious months ago that this wasn't ever going to fly. I'm honestly shocked that they found so few issues as I expected a lot more.

For the few still using Winamp, just install Wacup. It is being developed by an ex-Winamp developer and actually gets updates. Install the same skins and look at them side by side and you'll not be able to tell the difference (below, Winamp last release on the left, Wacup most recent release on the right, both running same skin).

I switched from Winamp to Foobar2000 in early 2023. It took a little finagling to get the view settings the way I wanted, but it works well as a replacement media player and it's not a resource hog.
