How sad...

God's comfort and blessings to his family and friends.

Sad news indeed,,
I for one hope that now he knows the answer to what he was so very helpful in looking for here on earth.

Very sad news. He definitely was a bright light in the darkness of the storm. My best wishes to his family

I saw the title of this thread and immediately my heart sank.

"Oh no...."

My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

I lost my dad this year to cancer. March 5, 2004.
54 years young.

Even though I don't know Roelof personally, I wish I could be with those closest to him.

If anyone knows of any memorial for Roelof, please post.

I had the privilege of talking to Roelof through emails and PMs when he was trying to raise money for his transplant. While I didn't get to know him in great detail, I got to know him well enough to know that he was a good and kind person.

Roelof, you will be missed here. I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to know you and call you friend.

Rest in Peace my friend

11/19/2003:

To all users of Seti Spy.
Roelof passed away on November 16.

Services will be held at Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX, on Saturday, November 20, at 2PM.
At this time, further updates and support for Seti Spy are no longer available.

Throughout his final days, Roelof was strengthened by the prayers and thoughts of friends and family worldwide, not the least of which was the Seti Spy community. He and his wife, Loela, are deeply grateful for your support over the last few years.

As any additional information becomes available, it will be posted here. In the meantime, Roelof would certainly wish you continued success in using Set Spy.

I hope you've found what we've all been looking for.

This is truly a sad day. I'd really like to thank him one last time for his effort in SetiSpy. May Roelof rest in peace. 🙁
