Sorry for your loss.

Had to put my dog down yesterday because he had stomach cancer. He struggled with the vet when they gave him the first shot as well, but then he relaxed and was licking my arm until his muscles relaxed and he went to sleep. It sucked having to do that, but the past week had been miserable for him so I'm glad he's no longer in any pain.
