Did you look at the video yet?

Yes and (again) Mister Armchair Captain!!!!

If you were there you would know. (and need a change of underpants!)

It seems scary and unless one's sanity is partially or completely absent - it's human nature to be afraid of dying. "Tossed about" just does not apply. Well my definition of tossed certainly does not match up.

Heck this is ATOT and I'm sure with all those cpu cycles one could simulate it. A ship being tossed around [sic] would completely destroy everything inside and more than likely result in catastrophic failure of the hull. How many times has this happened?

The Clelia II incident certainly warrants much concern as an under powered vessel in such condition is very worrisome. That video also shows the aft mooring deck completely submerged at times. That is getting close to a precarious situation. To make matters worse all communications were lost. High ranking crew of these vessels have many years of experience and training and are professional in handling the situation. Even so every situation is different and unless you are there it's pure speculation of how bad it really was.

On April 16, 2005 many of us were genuinely scared and the sea conditions were probably a bit WORSE than in the Clelia II video. Of course we're much larger than Clelia II.

In any case we're glad to see the vessels arrive in port safe with no casualties. :)
