Oh please, religion in itself is not bad, it is those people who use religion as an excuse to do bad things that give religion a bad name. Should all Americans be given a bad rap because of one or two serial killers? Doesn't make sense to extend one case to an entire group, that's called stereotyping

I don't consider it stereotyping. I believe religion itself IS bad. While I don't hate people who are religious, I do think it's a personal flaw much like smoking or what-have-you. So I'm not stereotyping at all, according to my views on it. I view all religious people the same. Incidentally I don't "stereotype" all Americans; only the religious ones.
