hi all,

would love to convert my xvid movies into a DVD player friendly format, any suggestions for efficient software for this job???

oh and i have tried VSO - but cancelled afer few mins - it thought it would take 6hrs!!! i know this would have dropped but even so what to?? 2 hrs???

Yeah thats around how long it takes to convert depending on your system and the file. I use avi2dvd with the settings set to best quality and it takes around 3 hours for a 1.5GB file.
 
ouch... didn't realise it took so long!!! can u que them up on that 1??? not sure about VSO!?! (have a look now) if so i could do some over-night....!
