Good XP registry cleaning programs?

i was wondering if there are any good xp registry cleaning programs out there? Can somebody give me a list of some programs (that i don't have to register to use)?

Also, is there something besides StyleXP that i can use to apply themes to my xp? my xp also shuts down slower and slower... any ideas? (besides the fact that i installed a lot of stuff... but my 98 shuts down about 10 times faster than xp...)

Best utility I've found for cleaning the registry is RegCleaner.

mmm, i think RegCleaner doesnt works well for XP, but i'm not sure.

and I dont think that the shutdown slowdown caused by styleXP since i didnt experience that. or maybe it's caused by the theme you applied?

XP is suppored by RegCleaner.

i use regcleaner on xp and havent had any problems yet.

there is suppose to be a newer program on the author's website which supposedly performs better; havent tried it cos i dont need the extra features.

heh turkey i was thinking about doing that after i get my new video card 😉

i was wondering if regcleaner worked... i used it for 98 and it was goodness wrapped into a free lil package.

now... about that slow down.... any ideas? i uninstalled style xp (it expired anyways) and that wasn't the problem.

Also, any good theme-appliers (similar to style xp)?

Doesn't Microsoft's own RegClean work in XP, since it works fine in W2000?

You might try WindowBlinds for applying different styles/themes.
