Good XBLA co-op (single console) games?

She might like a mario kart type game, although we talked about it and she essentially gave me a "if it's a racing game I don't want to you kill me!"

Another question, any games where you can have two people on one console playing on one XBL account on multiplayer against other people? Board/puzzle games preferred.
 
How about I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 ?

It's basically Geometry Wars except cheaper and simpler. Same controls (left stick for movement, right stick for shooting). You can get better weapons as they appear.

It's $1 and the demo is pretty much the same thing with a fairly lenient time limit.

Schizoid is very much a co-op required game, and it's not TOO complex, but it's quite difficult.

I bought I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 over the weekend and really enjoyed it.
 
How about bomberman live?

Supports up to 4 local players, and then you can play with up to 4 more online to have up to 8 man madness.


it's multiplayer, but not exactly "co-op" since its pvp 😛

its very cute, casual, and an easy to learn party game

on sale for only 400 points.

btw, i just picked up an xbox since the price drop and had another friend who did also who actually had NEVER played bomberman on any nintendo console in his life @_@
 
My GF (age 27) liked the South Park game (probably would like any tower defense now). She really liked Geometery Wars 2.

Of course I tried to get her to play MW2 but she was like I havent played a video game since nintendo.....
