Try Dickies Steel Toe Oxford's.

I like em, you can find em on their website in black, I got a slightly different pair in brown at Meijers.

Comfy, steel toe, look decent. Low rise, don't know how much ankle support you're looking for.

i have some steel toed boots by "work tough carolina"

the outside is solid, but the soles wore out after about 4 or 5months (of wearing them 3-5 times a week)....some cheap dr scholls fixed that, and otherwise theyre still in really good condition
