I am in a lousy mood... My best friend's mom died and he came back to university today just one day after his mom's death... His family lives in another city.... 🙁

It's been pretty painful for both of us. I just hope he is able to pass through this trial of his life successfully.

If it happened suddenly, the best advice right now might be for him to take the semester off. School is stressful enough without something like that happening as well.

Best to both of you and his family as well.

/sympathy for both of you

my advice to you: stick with him
my best friend's dad died about 15 months ago after a 4-year battle with sinus cancer, and we're still best friends

We have end of semester exams in a week. And his family has been urging him to concentrate on exams so he is doing just that.

Yeah, I am sticking with him... We have been friends for around 13-14 years.... from Kindergarten..... His mother had some kind of cancer.. probably blood cancer.... not sure... and paralysis apart form some other diseases.... I am in a way happy that she doesn't has to suffer more but feel sad too for my friend's loss. Mothers are precious.
