I am designing a website where merchant can access it to add their new product. Is it good to have a single login screen asking for password and username only? My company website usually have seperate login area or pull down menu to identify them as administrator,Buyer or merchant.
 
Your database canhave some sort of value to specifiy admin, buyer or merchant for each user with appropriate power levels.. so you can use a common login page..

but I think admins should not login the same way as customers but i guess it all depends on the website 🙂
