Good way to make snow cones?

I love the off topic forum, even if no one replies 😛

I love making snow cones or slushies or whatever. I just like crushed/shaved ice that's flavored. What's a good, cheap way to make these? Blenders kind of suck for doing the job, i have a pretty expensive blender too. I have to push the ice back down like every 2 seconds, i've read most are the same way.

I didn't think people could respond sarcastically to this one, but somehow they still managed 😛

I'm hoping not to get a little cheapo ice shaver, they take forever. I don't mind the suggestion though. I might have to get one of those crappy ones.

If you go to an asian store, you can sometimes find just this little machine that you put ice in and you turn a wheel, pushing the ice into a blade, shaving it.

target has hand crank sno-cone makers, iceee makers, and smores makers

they're by the easy-bake ovens in the toys

i have the icee maker...works good but it's a PITA
