Free.. I'll check that out.. I'm weary of windows applications in general.

Edit: Seems i can only save the files as .WMV, which isn't ideal.

Hi,

Try Avidemux. It is free and provides all the basic video editing tools.

I use Video ReDo for editing commercials and things from MPGs I record.
