I have a ATI Rage Fury Pro 32mb. Is it a good card?
I am thinking of getting a better one.
Any recommendations??
 
i dont think fury is good, but it'll do the job for now, and do not purchase new card now since u have fury. Just wait until that NV20 comes out or Radeon2 comes out. by that time those cards will up the performance alot, or at least price for Geforce2 GTS ULTRA will go lower.
 
I wouldnt wait I would go and get a Radeon. If you wait for a Radeon2 you will pay top dollar for it when the radeon will get you through the next year or so. They are selling for $165 in forsale forums not a bad deal for a great card.
 
Another vote for the Radeon.
32 bit color rocks for the price.
I have heard of many problems with the latest GeForce cards: Random reboots, etc.
 
The best value I see at the moment is (easily) the Radeon 32 DDR. However...

It's a decent card, and should last you if you don't need 900000000 fps and 1600x1200 resolution when you are gaming. That card should do 800x600x32 bit color with ease with today's game.
 
I agree with Hawk. I just upgraded to a Rage Fury Pro! Those newfangled cards are too damn expensive. Plus the Fury Pro is like twice as fast as my old original TNT.

Save your money for the Next Big Thing.
 
I have problems when playing NFS Posche. The screen will freeze for more than 5 seconds. What is going wrong with the rage fury pro?? can anyone tell me??
 
The radeon 32mb ddr can do 1280x1024@32bit color & highest quality without a problem. I have a geforce 2 gts in the other computer, and I have to say the radeon looks _much_ better, and performs better at higher resolutions. The radeon is the card to buy.
 
The ATI Rage Fury Pro is an ok card but a little outdated. If you're looking for cheap performance I'd have to recoment the Geforce MX. If you're looking for a bit more in terms of 32bit performance and high resolution you can't go wrong with a Radeon 32Mb DDR.

With price of Radeon 32m DDR dropping, it's not worth an Mx any more. Check for the link in my sig to get Radeon cheaply.
