Little bit of a different question for the usual and of course a short backstory to explain the reason.

My grandfather learns tech (that he wants to learn) pretty easily. Over the years of working in a plant before hearing protection was standard and shooting without hearing protection (and the other things our older generations did before they knew it was bad for you), he doesn't hear high pitched sounds well at all. Unfortunately, that includes most cell phone ringtones. He carries one with him when he goes out in his boat (just for the safety) but he can almost never hear when my grandmother calls him. In addition to this, he often doesn't hear his watch alarm chime, which in turn causes other issues and inconveniences. He's not senile, he just can't hear the high-pitched beep of the watch.

What I feel would help him is a vibrating watch. I know they exist and he's used one before with great results. Something extra that would be nice though is Bluetooth connectivity that could make the watch vibrate when he receives a call. If it had a little screen on it for CallerID that would be even more helpful.

I saw where Sony made just such a watch, but it appears to be for Android only. Is there any such product that he can use over bluetooth with his simple little flip phone?

I was just drooling over this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Watc...4344783&sr=8-1

It pairs as a BT headset. So as long as his phone has BT, he should be good.
