thanks for all the help. I am looking for a new motherboard right now because the steel legend didnt have enough 5v argb headers. I also got a deal where the cpu comes with 32gb of corsair ram for "$100 added value"

You can get a splitter or a lot of devices actually come with a pigtail wired in so you can daisy chain them. How many aRGB connections do you have?
 
So originally, i had just one on the asrock b450, but i'm instead getting a tomahawk b550 for the same price, and 2 argb headers, 1 more m.2 heatsink, and better 10+2 vrms. so i'm good on that front. The case also has a 4 way fan/argb splitter and hub. so that would take up one fan header (which is fine) and 1 argb header, which was the only one, and i needed one for the cpu cooler too. So its fine now.
Also: will i need a bios update for the ryzen 7 5700x on b550? too lazy too look it up

Highly unlikely you would get a board that predates the 5700X. Should it somehow happen (it won't) the Tomahawk has bios flashback that allows you to flash the board with nothing in it. just the board, power supply, and USB stick with the updated bios on it.

Hey all, just wanted to give a quick update. Everything but the Motherboard has arrived, (msi tomahawk b550 non-wifi), the parts are the ryzen 7 5700x, xfx rx6650xt, 32gb 3200mt/s cl18 ram, 550w msi psu, montech air 1000 premium, and tt assassin 90se argb. When it arrives, i will do the build and post it on @yourpetgoldfish4478 on youtube if yall want to see the build completed. That will be out in maybe a month?? Thanks all and sorry for the shameless plug.
