OK, I hjave finally decided that I need a UPS. I don't want to be losing files and data due to "unexpected circumstances" since I will be started college in the fall. All I would need is to either have the PC shut down automatically or give me a few minutes to save. Given the PC in my sig, what would you recommend. I have no idea about its power draw or how many VA would be sufficient.
Also, can anyone make a recommendation for a brand/model. If I'm not mistaken APC are one of the better companies, but I don't mind choosing something else if the price is better and quality is still good. Basically, I want a reliable UPS that will give me 5-10 minutes of run-time. Thanks alot!
