Dave Attell and Pablo Francisco. They don't have CD's though, but you can catch them on Comedy Central Presents or Insomniac, in the case for Dave Attell.

I dunno if it's me, but I don't find most black comedians that entertaining. I know there are some that are good, but look at the really bad ones on BET that start exploiting blacks. All they do is say "white people do this... but BLACK PEOPLE do this!", which is cue for the 98% black audience to laugh hysterically.

IMO George Carlin, Chris Rock, and Robin Williams are three of the best. 🙂

Add Lewis black, and the female that I can not remember at the moment because I have had too much beer. She was arrested for child endagermant? Palula something. The show at harvard rocked!

Paula Poundstone is pretty funny. 🙂

: ) Amanda

Thank you, that was driving me crazy!

In Harvard, she was doing standup and asked for a phone to call a roomate of someone in the audiance. Someone un the upper deck threw a moble phone to her, and she decided not to catch it, and it exploded on the stage. She gathered up all the pieces, and an engineer in the front row put it back together. 5 minutes later she was using the phone. Great stuff 🙂

Bob Saget, yeah the old host from Americas Funniest Home Videos. I know, he's stale on the show.

I saw him do a nightclub show on HBO, I think, and he was funny as hell. I had a new found respect for him after that.

Also agree about:
Robin Williams
Eddie Murphy
Eddie Griffin (Saw him live in concert)
George Lopez (Seen him several times, live)
George Carlin
Richard Jeni (Almost seen him in Tahoe last year)

Jim Breuer

Saw him live a few weeks ago at a benefit in NJ. The audience was about 50 people, as it was thrown together last minute.

At the end of the night, I was in pain. My whole body hurt from laughing.

And he was a pretty cool guy outside of hit routine.

I've got a few that I listen to often - Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock are great, Carlin is my all-time favorite (something like 12 HBO shows). I have David Spade's HBO special too, which is quite funny, and a recording of a Jeff Foxworthy special. Bill Engvall is also very good, IMO.

Chris Rock, Steven Wright(good lord this guy is hilarious), Lewis Black, and don't laugh but Bob Saget is awesome too... not quite Danny Tanner material... you will be surprised.

The Amazing Johnathan.

He's like one part Harry Black(that magician), one part Jim Carrey, and little bit of Jeffrey Dahmer thrown in for fun 😀

Warning - The "dirty" jokes really, really, are tasteless! 😀

Dave Attell rocks! He sometimes tells jokes that make you feel uncomfortable, which makes him who he is. Insomniac is one of the few shows that Comedy Central has not broadcast enough to get the audience base up.

When I lived in SoCal I used to go to the Brea or Irvine Improv at least once amonth so got to see lots of up and risers or smaller known ones, my faves are:

Brian Regan (He kills me, has a CD) Brian Regan CD
Pablo Francisco (yes he does have a CD, I have it) Pablo Francisco CD
Craig Shoemaker "The Lovemaster" (has a few cd's) Lovemaster
Joe Rogan "News Radio and Fear Factor" (has a cd) Joe Rogan
Bobby Slayton (has a few cd's) Bobby Slayton
Richard Jeni (has a cd) Richard Jeni
Penn & Teller (good to see or get a video of, magic humor kinda sucks without seeing it) Penn & Teller
