Good software for editing HD video?

I need some video editing software to edit HDV from my camcorder. I am about to pull the trigger for Pinnacle Studio Plus, which is $100 and seems to be pretty good...at least it has the full HDV workflow in one package. I can also update it to the Ultimate version for $30 if I need to. Before I hit the "Buy" button, I just wanted to know if there is any better software for around the same price point (100-150).

Thanks!

Ultimate gets you a couple of more toy effects and a green screen. If you have a previous version, check out a B&M or Pinnacle's page. At Fry's this weekend, the rebates after returned made it $0. Base was $60 or $69.

As for 'better' amoung the big 4 in that price range, everyone's style and mileage varies in a big way.
