good sites for car stereo equip?

i'm finally deciding to upgrade my front speakers and get some components...looking at infiniti kappa's, sony es, perhaps a more value mb quart or some ba's, anyone know any sites that are cheaper than crutchfield?? i know there have been some places posted like that before, but i couldn't find them in search..oh well.

tgg, thanks, but they're expensive and i don't need the tech support, i have done installs for years now and used to have my own connections, but its been too long since i've done anything to use them again

Honestly, after looking around on the 'Net what I would do (and have done) is strike up a relationship with your local car stereo dealer. If they are reputable and competitive then they will match and probably beat the online price for sure. Then you have the best of both worlds.

They can usually beat the price because they know that they can subsidize their loss by making it up in the install or just plain knowing that you will do more business with them in the future. If install is worth it to you then you get install there as well as you get warranty problems handled by them as well.

ive gotten all my stuff from there, ridcoulously cheap

and get infinity perfects...not rf, much better, pricy, but worth it

and no stuff there isnt oem or refurb, they take about a week to two on shipping, but worth it for savings...

I'll have to check with my freind...he found an online site that he got his head unit from (sony cdx-c90) for $769 and crotchfeild sells the same one for $1200...so i'd say they have good prices

bill n opus - i do agree, that is the best way to get good prices, and i used to have some great connections in orlando when i used to do this stuff all the time for people, but i've since moved up to tallahassee and haven't done it seriously for a few years, so i don't have any contacts up here and the majority of my contacts back in orlando are not still under the same management or the guys i would talk to have moved on, so.....
