I was wondering what sites, other than amazon, have ppl used to buy books and/or music. Sites that you would take your business back to.

amazon, buy.com, deepdiscountcd (music), SecondSpin.com (used music).

For new CDs (or DVDs) it's usually worth keeping 3 windows open and comparing a, b, and d -- deepdiscountcd / deepdiscountdvd is not always the cheapest.

Does anyone know about CDnow's preferred buyer program? I can't find any info on what it is actually about.

CDNow is owned by Amazon, so if there's some reason you dislike Amazon you might not want to give them your money :)

Nah, nothing against amazon. I just found a few cd's I wanted for real cheap with free shipping if I spent $25. It said that offer was for CDNow's preferred buyers. I tried looking for info on their site as to whether its something you sign up for, or they charge you a yearly membership or what. Couldn't find any info. Anyways, thanks all :)
