Good Single Player games (no internet+no video card)

Starcraft, The Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon. What kind of games do you like?

Age of empires 2. All you need is 2D card.

Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete (it's the game plus the expansions bundled up in a single app and package).

The game is pretty awesome, I've been playing it since release and still whip it out from time to time, it's really too awesome.

Also, if you haven't played it, the whole Marathon trilogy by Bungie is free and pretty incredible in single-player.

I think with Starcraft, Deus Ex, and Half-Life, in that order, you'll be set for a while. If you need more after that, check out Fallout 1 & 2, which ought to keep you busy for as long as you want. Warcraft 2 can be a lot of fun, too- it's a very simple RTS compared to anything newer, but setting up huge battles against AI players with the map editor is pretty exciting.

Most turn based games would do you. Galactic Civilizations 2 is fun and ADDICTING.

For non-turn based games Jets n' Guns is very fun, and doesn't require great graphics cards. Starscape is a game that I liked, and also doens't require much for graphics. You can actually get them all from Stardock Central (They seem to collect games that don't require high system specs) although I bought them all in different places.
